STEVEN E. LIPMAN has devoted his practice to IP litigation and related client counseling and opinion work. Prior to coming to Darby, Mr. Lipman served the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the Offices of the Commissioner, the Assistant Commissioner for Patents, and the Solicitor, and as a Primary Patent Examiner.
Mr. Lipman also has more than twenty years of experience in private practice as an IP litigator in many jury and non-jury cases for domestic and foreign clients. The clients have included TOTO Ltd. One of Mr. Lipman’s areas of specialization has been cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission; he is a past president of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association and a current member of the Hon. William C. Conner Inn.
